Dr John Porter is a Senior Scientist at Office of Environment & Heritage and also and Research Fellow at the Centre for Ecosystem Science UNSW. Dr Porter has 25 years experience in plant community ecology in temporary and permanent wetlands. Dr Porter also has extensive experience in landscape scale monitoring of biodiversity including waterbirds in Australian rivers and wetlands
