Body
The impact of gut microbiota on nutrient assimilation in Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus).
My study is focussed on improving fish (tilapia) farming practices throughout Papua New Guinea. We are aiming to use Next Generation Sequencing and Stable Isotopes to develop low-cost and effective feeds using locally available ingredients. This will result in tilapia farming becoming more sustainable, with farms producing higher yield of healthier fish for a lower cost.
